Acupuncture and Essential oils for mental/emotional health

In today’s world, stress is at an all-time high and research has shown that it is a key contributor to health problems. While technology had the goal of making our lives simpler, it has had the opposite effect. Computers, phones, and smart appliances continually press us to do more, engage more and stay connected. The result is that our nervous systems never get down time resulting in patients presenting with all manner of disharmonies as a result.

Jeffrey Yuen, a leader in the rebirth of Classical Medicine has formulated insights into the understanding of healing and the role that Acupuncture, Herbal Medicines, Self Cultivation and Essential oils can play in the vital process of maintaining health.

Mr. Yuen will spend two days addressing Mental and Emotional Health with Acupuncture and Essential Oils. Day one, will focus on how Acupuncture can be used to impact ones mental/emotional health through a variety of approaches.

The course structure is as follows:

Day 1: Acupuncture for Mental/Emotional transformation.
The first day will focus on how Acupuncture can impact ones mental/emotional health. Mr. Yuen will discuss varying approaches for addressing ones mental /emotional health utilizing a wide array of Chinese medical arts, including Acupuncture, Moxibustion and Essentail Oils.
Day 2: Essential Oils for Mental/Emotional health (Day One is pre-requisite).
On day two, Jeffrey will offer tools and guidance to utilize the “blueprint” of essential oils and show how they can be used to impact healing. Essential oils have a tremendous impact on mental and emotional imbalances. Essential oils are considered the hormones of plants and naturally have a great resonance with human hormones. In addition, the olfactory nerves’ direct connection to the brain allows essential oil treatments to be particularly effective. Building on the information conveyed in day one, Mr. Yuen will introduce Essential Oils that can be included for the treatment of mental and emotional conditions.

Jeffrey Yuen

Jeffrey Yuen, is an 88th generation Daoist Priest of the Yu Qing Huang Lao Pai (Jade Purity School, Yellow Emperor/ Lao Tzu Sect), ordained by Master Yu Wen, and 26th generation of the Quan Zhen Long Men Pai (Complete Reality School, Dragon Gate Sect), ordained by Master Lu Xin-Xu. Mr. Yuen is recognized internationally to be a Master of Classical Chinese Medicine, Taoism, Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, Tai Ji Chuan, and Qi Gong. He has served as a Guest Lecturer at Rockefeller University, City University of New York, San Francisco State University, Vassar College, and is the only non-M.D. acupuncturists on faculty for the American Association of Acupuncture Physicians. Mr. Yuen was the first recipient of the Oriental Medicine Educator of the Year Award presented by the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 1995.
